Swedish Environmental Monitoring North of 60oN

- An inventory made as a Swedish contribution to the international process
   Sustaining Arctic Observing Networks (SAON).

During the International Polar Year (IPY) 2007-2008, the Arctic Council initiated a process for developing a circum-polar Sustained Arctic Observing Network (SAON). As a response to this initiative the Swedish IPY Committee initiated an inventory of ongoing monitoring activities which is presented at this home page.

The report from this work can be downloaded from the Documents folder. The Documents folder also contains an Excel file with extensive detailed information which is not printed in the main report. In addition, the Maps folder contains interactively search able versions of the maps in the report.
